Wonder if they have enough babies to fill up the new kiddy places? Then why r a lot of secondary schools closing down/merging?

Any news abt the holding site and when are they shifting?

Anyone who withdrew in earlier phases like phase 1/2A/2B and managed to apply a sch nearer home at 2C? Pls share your experiences:

- U successfully guaranteed a place? Or
- Awaiting balloting results?

Just to share, we aborted our plan due to the uncertainty in the last 2hrs from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Sure enough, 11 SC walked in the last 2hrs and my choice school is currently in a balloting situation (At closing time we still had no idea then).

Thank u Zac’s mum for the reminder to all the parents here. My girl was aware what happened. She cried saying then she come home so late. Broke my heart seeing her cried.

We need more success stories like Queenstown pri. Those schs that pple shunned but now gained recognition, so that all schs will be more \"balance\" in numbers.

Did you realize how many flats they just built all around this school?

But New Town Pri is just a bus stop away from Queenstown pri. Why the contrast n not the numbers not distributed evenly? No idea leh.. *shrugged shoulders*

Which order of preference for you all with 1 being top rank?

In terms of standard all 3 above are roughly the same (I stayed in Clementi be4 and now Bukit Merah area). So go for the one nearest to u and most convenient.

All the best to all the parents! Those of us who r going through lots of stress and sleepless nights becoz of this, by tonight we will be free from all these (hopefully!). Last night I even had a nightmare that I turned up at the wrong location for registration and it was alr 4pm!

I did some random comparison of some schools for this yr and last yr data. The different in the number of applicants is quite close approx ++2% to 5% until day 2 (the latest data as at 31 Jul moe website).

Have a feeling tonight we will not get much \"surprises\" like sudden influx +10% increase for day 4. What do u all think?
