2018 P1 registration exercise for 2019 intake

Final day of registration in 2C.


There will be 2 group of parents..
1. Already registered but going to withdraw and trying for a school nearer home (thus freeing up seats),
2. Parents who have not registered and looking to “place their bets”. They will be making their move in the final hour.

So for those who are in the 1-2km and the beyond 2km, be on your toes and get ready to withdraw. the latest u shld be withdrawing shld be around 3.45pm otherwise you will be caught off guard and your 2C chance is wasted. Expect a flurry of activity today in the second session.

i think some parents may just want to try their luck register at those popular schools via balloting.. e.g. registration number at Northland on day 1 was 190 seats.. day 2 was 198 seats.. guess the number will still increase on day 3..let's see the stats this evening..

- SJIJ
- St. Andrew’s
- Maris Stella

I dont have the final stats but if you have followed this thread, it seems that balloting for St Andrew’s and Maris Stella <1km.
SJI Jr as of yesterday, balloting for 1-2km. But may change as there may be an influx of parents (under 1km) coming in after 3.30pm.

Last night’s stats total 61 registered. Wonder if this means there r 6 in >1km or maybe 6 within 1km who have just withdrawn this morning hmm...

All the best to all the parents! Those of us who r going through lots of stress and sleepless nights becoz of this, by tonight we will be free from all these (hopefully!). Last night I even had a nightmare that I turned up at the wrong location for registration and it was alr 4pm!

today is the last registration day for P2C.. tomorrow will know whether we get a seat for our kid or need to go through the balloting process.. if balloting, another nightmare or sleepless nights for parents..

I see 135 (so far) vying for 113 vacancies. still curious what the total number will be at the end of today.
for the past few years, it's balloting for those staying within 1km.

Hi, parents! Just called Henry Park, the lady unswered was not pleasant, but managed to find out that they have 31 applicants now which are all SCs < 1km, this is far different from last night’s number that only 1 SC < 1km, did anyone else managed to confirm with the school? We are at 1-2km, not sure if need to go down to HP to check for sure…thank you!!
