RE: Comparing English Enrichment Programmes
Sorry but I cannot seem to find any posts regarding Mindchamps English Programme.
Any comments on them? Are they able to help a child learn to read or is I Can Read a better programme?
Thanks -
RE: I Can Read - Discussion
Hi
Any comments on ICR AMK branch or Bt Timah/ King’s Arcade branch?
I recently withdrew my son from a phonics school because they claimed he cannot follow because he can’t write well. I also discovered that they did not teach him the correct skills to blend words phonetically. I am now exploring whether to send him to ICR or MindChamps.
Any comments on either?
Thanks -

Not suddenly, it has been popular for years...I believe the current parents who went through this registration P1 past few years will be so glad they do not have to go through it this year again. With decreasing intake numbers for PH and those Bukit Timah schools, the supply/demand balance gets tilted further. All the best, toots!toots:
Hi All,
I also hoping to reg my son in PH when it is his turn under phase 2B. Looking at this yr and last yr, it looks super scary! So many in Phase1 and Phase 2A(last year). I wonder how will it turn out this year.
Why is PH suddenly so popular as compared to previously? Yikes!!
Thanks ... abit disheartened liao and dono what to do. -

Based on the assessment test that was conducted for him prior to the admission, he was allowed to advanced to intermediate class. According to them, he is one of the few who is able to do so as he scored very well for the test. The tester was very impressed by him
he is now in advanced class n la able to read confidently
Wow! that's so great!
Did u hv to pay for the assessment test?
Hmm my son just turned 3 in June but he is able to sound out all the alphabets already so I'm wondering if the class I signed up wld be a waste of time. -
RE: Rental questions
pianobabe,
does your rental lease give them the option to extend? if not you can always say no… either that or you can just say extend based on your new rent (ask for much more) -

LOLMum:
Yep, I agree with LOLMum heheI will go straight for Acsj under phase 2b.
Once place secured, monitor the situation at Acsp for phase 2 c. But I really wouldn't want to give up my secured place at Acsj just to risk balloting at Acsp (phase 2c).
