I don’t think it will be the last page. Since a lot of parents are seeking MOE for helping to register their child into P1, and MOE promise to issue solution or reply within next 3 weeks, so we should wait until then. I think MOE is also working hard to help to solve this problem.

Imagine, if moe had assured that even foreigners kids will get places in our public school, you and I will be subsidizing the education of these kids through our taxes! That would be ridiculous!

Thankfully, the minister only meant SC and PR kids when he said all kids will get a place in primary schools.

Calm yourself and learn the facts - foreigners pay steep fees each month therefore they are no drain on your tax dollars! You are not subsidizing any foreign kid who has achieved a placement in Phase 3.

And, everyone pays taxes! Therefore it could be argued that Foreigners are subsidizing SC and PR through their tax dollars with none of the benefits- but that fact is conveniently forgotten!!!?

That is true. Foreigners also pay tax so they have right to register for their child to the Primary School (with higher school fee I sure). That happens everywhere on the world. I am writing to MOE to seek their help to register for my child into Singapore governmental Primary system. We were balloted out from the morning slot, and when we went to some of other schools that we thought there was still vacancies (from MOE website), a long queue was there with parents placed their slot from midnight. And after travel through 3-4 schools we had to give it up. My daughter was also so tired and sad.
