While work is never ending, play time with kids is also important...so how do you juggle?

Yes, the truth is that work is always never ending. Nevertheless, we still have to allocate some time to spend with family and kids. I will always try to make time to spend with my daughter, in between work. Weekdays, when I am not travelling, I will have breakfast with her and send her to school and use this great time to bond.We talk about anything. I will focus on things that interests her and not to bore her by asking about homework done or not. Weekends, we will try to do some activities together, indoor or outdoor if she is not loaded with school homework.
Children grow up very quickly, thus I need to remind myself to treasure every moment spent. Having a good relationship with our kids when young will bridge the communication gap when they grow up.

At least this book gives me, someone who is pretty clueless of the new changes (DS's school has not given any briefing to the parents), an overview of how the new exam format will be like.
Guess there will be more such assessment books coming up...

I, too, like english assessment books published by Casco. If you go to their branches ( I know there is one at Towner Road), you can get 20% discount. Not sure if it is still valid. Pls give them a call to find out more for those who are keen.

It does help...especially for cloze. Surprisingly, my son is good in comprehension cloze but very careless for grammar cloze with past perfect tense and past participle.

Practice does makes perfect, if not makes better. Regardless in areas of academics or non- academics, like singing, dancing or sports. The phrase is \" learn from your mistakes\", dont repeat the same mistakes.

There are books which published creative / good phrases recommended for use in primary school composition. These books can be found in Popular bookstores. Was told that in order to score good marks for composition, besides the content and flow of the storyline, the use of creative / good phrases is important. Some diligent teachers will ask their pupils to come out with some creative / good phrases, select the good ones, typed and compiled them. Get them to memorise and put to use in their writing. And of course, practice makes perfect, the more the kids write, the better they are.

go make police report then go see your MP, and see what you MP say[/quote]Best is to avoid stepping into such shops in SL. I avoid going to SL sq to shop for my IT needs or repairs. Dont want to waste time on them, making trips to police station, filing reports.

Retail sales down, yet rental goes up, tenants are forced to close shops or moved elsewhere. Eastpoint shopping mall, to me it looks ok. Thought it had once underwent some makeover and now it went under major renovation. After revamped, rental will obviously not the same as before, most of the ex- tenants will not move back, except for some bigger ones.This scenario happens in most revamped shopping malls. It is us, consumers, who will have the missing feeling.

How abt deal and groupon?

Depends on what coupons you purchase. As for me, I would avoid travel deals, mainly go for dining deals. Do a check online for any reviews before buying the coupons.
