Does Nanyang primary allow parents staying outside 2 km, to be applicants for Parent Volunteer ?
Although the PV Application Form itself does not explicitly indicate any info, perhaps you may want to call up the school, to clarify first.

Refering to past years' Balloting historical trend, under Phase 2B, balloting was conducted, for less than 1 km in year (2016, 2015, 2014, etc)

Do you notice that for certain years, even if you're selected to do PV : for parents staying outside 2 km, there is No guarantee that they may have the chance to even ballot, under Phase 2B. This is the risk that they take, if selected.

So to be sure, I have to call the school to confirm whether I am eligible for PV in NYPS because I am staying >2km? Is it worth being a PV in this care? thanks!

Too low. PV in NYPS requires much more hours than is usual also.
