Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)

How big is TS's class size?
1:8 for nursery
1:10 for.K1-2 -
stjt:
You know what I like about 天下?in a K2 class, 1 teacher will take care of 10 children. But in Berries, there is 1 main teacher and 1 asst teacher to about 16 children (correct me if I'm wrong). So it means 1 Berries teacher is teaching 16 children as compared to 1 天下teacher teaching 10 children.quirkymum:

Assistant teacher is to put for a better teacher student ratio. But in actual fact, 1 teacher to 10 children is better in 天下 than 1 teacher to 16 children in Berries.
Parents, know what you are paying for. Having lesser students in a class allows the teacher to spend more time to focus on each individual child for Oral Component like K2 Picture description in 天下 Oral for Preparatory P1 class. -
I like the K2 Tien Tsia too. I like their materials n the word cards given every week. It is easier for me to revised with my DS.
However , for P3 class, is it true that TS standard is much higher? My DD just started to attend TS for a term. realized that she did not do well in the test paper by TS. Is it a concern? -

My 5 year old kid attends Chinese Montessori preschool @ TD Education near Paya Lebar MRT, 3 hours daily.
The school developed comprehensive and interesting text/workbooks which are also use at NTU Confucius Institute enrichment class and many childcare centres (e.g. St James, Innate Montessori etc). My kid's favorite place is the library, which comprises > 4000 books and he has cultivated the habit of reading 4 books daily.
From a kid who refuses to speak mandarin transforming to one who can't stop using Chinese daily in a short span of time, kudos to the teachers. They have definitely exceeded our expectation.
The school conducts enrichment classes too and coming June, there is a Holiday Chinese Program for Kids. Also, there is a Free Workshop for Pre-primary kids on 1st June. Refer to the website for more info. (http://www.tdgrp.com.sg) -

My son attended Berries K2 last year. It was 2 teachers to 12 students. -

My son's class also not more than 12. Occasionally up to 3 teachers. Might be teacher-on-training. Berries K2 is teaching HYPY every bi-weekly now started from this term 2.
