Hi! Need help on below question.

Based on the picture ( a pic of flamingo) , which of the following statement shows that Animal A is a bird?
            1) It has a wing
            2) It has a beak
            3) It has feathers
            4) It has two legs to swim

The answer given is 3. Why cannot be 2?

            Thanks in advance!

Heehee, think I can answer this qn, having been revising science with my DS these few days. Feathers is a characteristic unique to birds. Some mammals such as platypus/bats have bird-like features like beak or bill, wings/2 legs but theyare not birds. So ans is 3

Shall attempt this.Think moss is non-flowering plant. It has leaves but no flowers so I think no fruit.

                    Hi bgmum,
                    you are correct šŸ™‚
since Moss is a non-flowrering plant, reproduces using spores:it does not have flowers and hence no fruits.

ferns are another common type of non-flowering plant.

Hi, can help explain the rationale behind the answer?

Question shows a diagram of a canvas camping tent (P), held up by ropes (Q) and metal pitch pins Ā® to the ground. They asked which of the items was the most flexible.

My boy chose Q (the ropes) but the correct answer was P (the canvas tent). Why?
