Does club moss have leaves? Does it bear fruit?

Shall attempt this.Think moss is non-flowering plant. It has leaves but no flowers so I think no fruit.

        Hi bgmum,
        you are correct 🙂
since Moss is a non-flowrering plant, reproduces using spores:it does not have flowers and hence no fruits.

ferns are another common type of non-flowering plant.

Hi, can help explain the rationale behind the answer?

Question shows a diagram of a canvas camping tent (P), held up by ropes (Q) and metal pitch pins ® to the ground. They asked which of the items was the most flexible.

My boy chose Q (the ropes) but the correct answer was P (the canvas tent). Why?

              Hi cherrygal,

This question asks about flexibility of materials. My guess is a canvas tent is more flexible as it can be folded flat against itself and stay in place whereas a camping rope can't?

Thanks. Was also guessing that as well but not very clear answer unless we know how tough that rope is.

Does a mammal which lay eggs (eg Platypus) also suckles its young?

My DS thinks only mammals which give birth to young alive suckle its young.

                  What is your take?

According to this website, yes. http://www.australianfauna.com/platypus.php

\"When a young platypus is born, they feed from milk from the mother. The mother secretes this milk from large glands under the skin, the young platypus feed from this milk which ends up on the mothers fur.\"

Yup, that’s why we said mammals feed their young with milk.

All mammals suckle their young. In fact, they are named mammals after the mammary glands which are found in all female mammals. The function of the mammary glands is to produce milk for the mammals' offspring.

                        Hope this helps. 😄
