              Hi all,

This thread is meant for geppers of 2012 batch right? Seems like the parents of P6 geppers this year (2011 batch) are not very active. Itz all quiet in the 'All Abt GEP' thread.

So shd I post or share P6 related stuff here or is there a new thread for P6 geppers. Thanks šŸ™‚

Yes. A lot of them score below the passing mark of 28.
So does it means these GEPers can't go for DSA anymore?
Since they need to score average of 80 for the core subjects...?

Hi blessmum4, the 28 passing mark u r referring to is only P5 SA1 paper 2 right? There r others like Paper 1, Oral, daily assessment etc to be included. So don't worry too much just yet, different school different criteria. Some need P4 to P6 results; some need only P5 & P6. The 80% requirement refers to overall average of 4 subjects, namely Math, Science, English & CL (not HCL). Moreover, if u meet the 80%, it just meant that the school u DSA for may exempt u from taking GAT. For those who score less than 80% could still DSA but just need to take GAT. šŸ™‚

                    GG

                    Take total score * ( 20/17 )

                    For this eg, % obtained = 74 * 20/17 = 87 %

                    There is no \"bal 15\"

Think Just4Fun is right, should be : Investigative (25 marks) + Part 1 (20) Part 2 (30) over total score of 75, then regross back to 100%.

Dagong , u hv forgotten abt the daily assessment which carries 10 marks. Anyway, my computation is correct as this has been stated in one of school's circulated notice to parents at the start of term 1

I should be thankful with DD's score.
Highest score seems to be 37/40 for her class.

Tao Nan has released the HCL. DD's tuition mate did very well for Compo - 37/40.
Do other schools reveal the scores for Compo ? I thought this is a hush hush matter ? We dun not get any such score at all, even for last yr.
