So u are staying nearby my area too!
U are lucky if ur child got in HW.
I couldn't PV for Hw as I had no one to look after my son.
Now I have a chance to PV for HW if I do decide to let no 2 study there in 2015.
Mind pm me how's the PV like? I can't decide yet as I'm goin for PV talk at St. Andrews next week. Undecided between St. Andrews or HW
HW and St. Andrews main difference will be culture bah, one is SAP while the other is Catholic. Depends which one you prefer. I like SAP heehee
Academics wise, I have no idea which is better LOL. -

Yes, as SAP school, HW will start HCL in P1.I would want my child to take HCL if possible and was told that SAP sch has HCL starting p1. But for the rest sch, HCL is offer from p5 am I right

As for non-SAP schools, really depends on the school, I know of one school that has HCL for selected students at P2. While there are other schools that start at P5.
You can chk with SA, which level they start HCL. -

I'm looking at Rivervale Drive, think it's consider a popular school in SK.
Rivervale Pri used to be just a normal neighbourhood primary school when residents with children just moved into Sengkang. Over the years, Rivervale Primary gain quite a good reputation for producing children with good academic results. It has to do with the past and current school teachers' consistent effort and the leadership of the principal to bring the name of Rivervale Primary to be a good and reputable neighbourhood school in Sengkang. -
Question??
Under 2C <1km, there are 110 vacancies in the hot school, only 79 SC applicants and 63 PR applicants, what happen to the remaining 31 vacancies? Will balloting by these 63 PR applicants? Or transfer these 31 vacancies to 2C S? -
hoo1688:
The 31 seats will be balloted among the 63 PR applicants, all within 1km. No seats will be available at Phase 2CS.

:thankyou:
But I thought, they will be transferring the remaining to 2C S for SC applicants (1km to 2km)! :? -
110 - 79 sc (priority first to sc) = 31 remaining places left in phase 2c.
These last 31 vacancies must be fully utilized.
So, who occupy 31 vacancies?
Since demand exceed 31 availability, these 63 prs within 1 km have to ballot.
- 31 lucky pr will get in.
After get in, school 100% occupied, at end of phase 2c.
Because is full house, will stop, donβt need to enter phase 2c supp.
But the balance of (63 - 31) = 32 unlucky prs, have to enter next phase 2c supp, choose other primary schools.
In each phase:-
Priority given to sc means β¦ Must wait until the last sc staying > 2 km get in, before the first pr staying less than 1 km can enter, provided still got vacancies left.
