      Tel: 63231612
      Fax: 67469898

      Hope your mum likes it
This is interesting. I have not heard abt this restaurant before for hokkien food. We have always been going Beng Hiang which is nearby. How is this place compared to Beng Hiang? I've thot of going there for my mom's bday but am open to new interesting finds.

I have been to Lai wah at someone's recommendation. It gave my parents a sweet surprise as they have known the restaurant last time but not know where it is now. The food there was very good indeed, esp the yam ring.

Red star's food is not bad. I usually go there for dim sum lunch.

Guan Hin (http://www.soshiok.com/article/14622) is one of my family's old favs. Teochew food in an aircon restaurant under a HDB block in Bendemeer. Pretty near Lai Wah. Old school food and old school decor.
