SAHM_TAN:
Thank you SAHM_TAN.Hi Obisana,
I do not know if you can withdraw online becos I have not registered online before. But if you wish to withdraw on the last day of P2C, 01 Aug 2013, you will have to do it at the school becos the online registration for P2C end on 31 Jul at 4.30pm, a day before the onsite registration for P2C -
tension is building. a little more than 1 month left... people are asking me what have i decided.... and i tell them... i am still lost about which one to choose... and they go.... one more month leh.... and i'm like..... ya but i really cant make up my mind... and they stare at me.

I'm sure you are not alone in this. It's very common for parents to be undecided about which school to register for in the days leading up to the registration exercise. Those who have faraway alma maters may have to decide between the school next to their house and their own school. It's never an easy decision for the first one, but it gets easier after thattension is building. a little more than 1 month left... people are asking me what have i decided.... and i tell them... i am still lost about which one to choose... and they go.... one more month leh.... and i'm like..... ya but i really cant make up my mind... and they stare at me.

1. Reg at far away alma mater in 2A first.
2. AM of 2C last day, check status at target school. If ok, rush to alma mater to withdraw, then rush to target school to register. Not ok, stay put at alma mater. -

My targeted schools (GEP school or SAP school - under P2A) are very far from my house, estimated about 4 hrs traveling time a day (school bus ā merry go round)!
If I change it to a neighborhood school (under P2C)? There is also a risk, don't know will end up to which school (balloting)? But dd has 4 hrs a day to learn other new knowledge or do her home work.
Do I need to try my luck?
Oh! this is a great challenge for us! :frustrated: -
I was also like you all , undecided but after some thoughts, i think it is best to have school near your house rather than having a child to travel long distance. Not worth it. If the child is deprived of sleep, what can the child study.
I think the most important thing we should all do is to pray that our children get good teachers and friends who can lead them in the right direction so that they would be motivated to go to school.
No point it is the best school but gets a lousy teacher. I have friends in top schools but the teachers are not committed.
Thank you.
