      KSP:
the obvious reason would be RGSS wants to maintain their standard as top sec sch....

RGPS will be the hottest pri sch if it has affiliation with RGSS.....

All fully government schs have no affiliation... government aided like scgs st margs, mgs are backed up by clans, churches etc,, so that makes a difference.

        Hi mummies,

Sorry to interrupt… Any mummy knows whether 2014 P1 is in am or pm session?
I called the school the lady told me they are not sure but should remain pm session.
        TIA!

2014 p1 is pm session, but how I wish is am session.

It makes a world of difference, between an and pm session.

2014 p1 name tag worn on school navy blue pinafore (uniform) will be white in color -
Ie. will Follow the same white color as this year’s graduating batch of p6 students, who will leave school after their Psle.
Was told that p1 orientation be held on 4 January 2014 -
Because the school want the older level girls to orientate themselves first, in the new school in January, before p1 come in.

Anyone done a trial run, ie. drive off at 6.30 pm peak hour at door step of 53 mount Sinai, see what time your p1 / p2 child reach home ?
Those who haven’t … maybe try out.

All these MOE CSOs should be shot! One of them misplaced my PV form at another sch.

                  Last year (2012):-
138 vacancies were left, for phase 2a(2).

                  This year (2013):-
136 vacancies are left, for phase 2a(2).
Hence no worry; it's safe for 2a(2) applicants, this year.

After you register next Monday (15 July) :-
The school will inform you when to expect the official letter of confirmation to reach your house address as stated in the parents' ic, by mail post. Not by SMS. Not by email. But, by post.

                  ===========================================
To All 36 registered phase 2a(1) applicants on tues (9 July) :-

Our school had already sent out the official letter of confirmation, to your
house. It should hAve reached your home, by now. You may open your letter box at home, to check. Congratulations, to each of you! 😄

You may proceed to call up school bus driver at tel: 67477-246, to find out school bus fees charges, from your house address to 53, mount Sinai road (holland).
In the event the charges for next year is not out yet:-
You may SMS the school bus operator, let him know your address and child's name.
Sometime in early November, after they had finished discussion & finalized the new charges (due to re-location), the school bus operator will return you an SMS, inform you how much is the school bus fees, per month.

See you next year @ p1 orientation -
                  4 January 2014, 9 am.

                        Thanks for the valuable information.

Hi Icegoh, there is no student care in RGPS which I badly wish there is one too however so far there is one called Out of the Box at 613A Bukit Timah Road
                        Singapore 269714
                        +65 6469 5152
                        http://www.outofthebox.com.sg
They focus on jus Student care services. The school bus will pick them from here to RGPS as P1 and 2 will be in the PM session. I visited the school and it is not too bad. Some RPGS and Henry Park students are there too.
Will you be registering your kid in phase 2A or? Hope this helps
