Last year year 1 batch, parents were invited to the camp fire, after the principal's talk. The talk was something like 7 to 9pm, follow by parents to watch their camp fire activities. We got to see how our children were so crazy having fun.


This year, I heard they cannot really set up a fire on the field, because its synthetic grass, not real grass. Yet to find out more from dd tonight, she still need to go for CCA after these long orientation.

I managed to visit the canteen after the initiation ceremony. The average food price is ranging from $1.50 to $2.20...

The food so cheap meh ? I ate Yong Tau Foo, 4 pc @ $2.40. My hubby ate Udon, small bowl @ $2.20. My girl had duck rice plus 1 egg $2.70 leh.

I didnt go yesterday . Seem that the food price us slightly more exp than normal sch canteen. I heard the contractor is ISS.


So how this lady holding two black bag look like ?

BTW, any significant changes the principal mentioned during the speech ? I heard from dd, from her batch onwards, no need to choose subjects combi in year 3 because they simply have to take all subjects. And all year 1s this year onwards, must take 2 CCAs ???? Don't know she heard wrongly or not because she not really paying attention .. too tired. :oops:

We'd meeting before lunch and were late for 5 mins when we reached. So we missed the first part of the speech. Btw, I think many parents saw me cos another parent \"chopped\" 2 seats for us, so when we walked in, everyone stared at us. :oops:
What I heard was the principal will have another session with Sec 1 parents with regards to the impact of the changes he's going to implement.
I checked with my girl, she didnt hear anything regarding 2 CCAs.
Verh xiong to take 2 CCAs. Jia Lak. Hope your girl hear wrongly...

Haha...justsay, I did not buy any food or drink from the canteen.

Personally I think the price was very similiar to the hawker centre, the cheapest will be the Malay stall.. :roll:
