stonston, what i know for most methodist, they dont require the kids to be baptised. either parent (baptised & be member) will do. But it has some min timeframe to be accepted as member after attending the church service says at least 1-2yrs prior membership ceremony etc. this is what i know 🙂

For my church the child but be baptised (infant/child baptism) and registered as member of the church.
Time frame I'm not too sure as my kids were baptised at 2yo.

normally are there alot of church member and grassroots leaders?

if for church member they have catholic / methodist baptised cert, is there a difference.
For Catholic, either parents must be baptised and must produce the cert. There is no letter from church. I have called the school and asked how should I make known that I am under Phase 2B, this is their response to me.

From the MOE release yesterday, it seems many schools will have balloting in 2B

Hopefully all our SG kids get in first rather than the PRs (I know I’m biased here but it’s really from the bottom of my heart)

Getting more & more competitive each year!

For catholic schools, eg. Holy Innocent. Does that mean any catholic can just register under phase 2B???

Yes, you must produce your cert to proof you are catholic.

I am anglican, will be registering under 2B as well in St hildas primary. My child not baptised, my husband not a member. But am qualify under phase 2B.

It depends on which denomination you belong to, i guess.

So do you have any idea if her children are at Nanyang Primary now? Read somewhere in this forum that her sons in NYPS. Wonder if NYPS really created \"vacancies\" for children after registration period end?

There will be some who withdraw after registration period for whatever reasons. Then there will be vacancies.

Also, I think at P3 when some are streamed to GEP, there will be student movement, again this is a chance for others to transfer in.
