Err... I hope u are not thinking of joining religion just for P1 registration...

I need your advice. Still a bit confused of balloting system.
I'm a PR & I'm aiming to register either at RVPS or Alexandra Primary School.
Both are within <1km from my place.

Since I'm PR hence I could only register at phase 2C.
Could I join for balloting after Phase 2B (which was mentioned in the earlier post is scheduled on 26 July 2013)?
My 1st choice is actually RVPS but looking at the number seats left is 82 (if I'm not wrong as at todate).

RVPS - 82 places left, so 41 will be allocated to phase 2C. As a PR, you are behind the queue of all the SC, even if they live >2km away. But you are in the first ballot of PRs at 2C if there are any remaining places. Look at prior years balloting history on the school website or here at KSP on the relevant thread.

Alexandra still has 210 places, so that could be your plan B at P2Csupp if you fail at 2C - but a lot of other people will also have it as their backup. You really need a third school that you would also be Ok with.

So watch the 2C registration numbers closely on 30th and 31st and make final decision once you have some more data.

Just take balanced vacancy divide by 2. The actual maybe 1 or 2 higher if there is withdrawal from earlier phases.
