Just a question- I am within 1km of both ACS Jr and SJI Jr and I will be in P2C-which school should I select? Go for ACS Jr and likely need to ballot or the safer option SJI Jr and likely no ballot?

I intend to go for Phase 2C for Nan Chiao Pri.. balloting results will only be known on 6th Aug 2013.Touch wood , if not balloted, wonder if there is any chance to get my child registered immediately under Compassvale Pri?

No, you will not be able to register at Compassvale Pri on 6th Aug. P2CS opens for registration on 13th and 14th Aug. You may like to refer to the following file for more information.

I am anglican, will be registering under 2B as well in St hildas primary. My child not baptised, my husband not a member. But am qualify under phase 2B.


It depends on which denomination you belong to, i guess.

Have you checked cause: at bare min you would require a letter from the Vicar... just in case you still have tomorrow to check it out? ... :imanangel:

Hi. Those in phase 2B with church affiliation, can I check if your pastor's letter was specific for only one school? Mine is and I am wondering if in case I need to register in second choice school becos first choice school odds are no good, will the second choice school accept my church letter altho it indicates first choice school?

Yes, mine is under Anglican diocese and it says specifically which school the vicar is supporting your application. But not sure how other churches / denominations go about it. Why not ask for another one for the backup school? Think if you are endorsed for one school, the other one should be endorsed too.

Could you take the stress of going through balloting? Do you have another school to go to in case you are not successful in the balloting?

If the answer is yes, then you may want to try your luck at ACSJ.

Can I check what schools will require to withdraw the registration? Will original IC be required? Will be difficult to be able to pull out and register in another school if we are monitoring the odds on day 2 since originals will be required for the registration as well?

Most of them anyway.[/quote]The sch is still being built at the moment. There's no teachers or admin staff posted to new sch yet. The general office probably be up only in Nov/Dec this year. Currently the designated P is still the P at Maha Bodhi, & a designated VP who is running most of the things to get the sch running. Hence, no reason for 2A2.

Based on last year, Compassvale Pri also has balloting in 2C, so you may not even have a chance at 2CS if you try Nan Chiau Pri at 2C.
