I just booked taipei hotel via pyotravel.com. They have good rates for cityinn plus hotel.

Booking direct with city inn is still the cheapest

I recently found out from a friend that Hotels.com gives you a free night of stay for every 10 nights that you book. I tried it and I must say that it is quite worth it. The rates are pretty good too. But I realized that they charge a small administrative fee - my credit card bill did not match the e-mail invoice. But it’s a small fee.

No, they don't issue a voucher. What I do is print out the confirmation email and show it at the hotel. The main thing they look for is the confirmation code and name of customer. I have used them to book hotels in the US and Europe and have had no problems.

I always use booking.com too. I have booked a couple of x n have no prob too..[/quote]Same here, I always use booking.com because you don't have to pay a deposit at all till you reach your destination. Although you may have to leave your credit card number, I have no problems so far!

I would go direct to the hotel website safer. At times, it is cheaper to book one room for each day instead of multiple days. I did this when I went over to nyc, USA. Not sure why this happens. Very interesting indeed.

Noticed that Booking.com always have good promo for weekdays incl. Sg hotel.
