Hi, I know it is super late to ask the question. is the letter from Pastor is a must to register under phase 2B? not only the child baptism cert? thank you
Not sure about other denominations but for methodists, yes, you need your pastor to sign off the letter. -

Christian or Catholic? Catholic only needs baptism cert. Christian think some need the letter... you better call. -
If one has studied in an Anglican kindergarten previously, can it be under Phase 2B?

Kindergarten is not counted. For Phase 2B, you need to be a certified Anglican to be eligible for the respective Anglican-linked primary school. -

Is catholic. Thank you for the advise -
Btw for Catholics, we don't call them \"pastors\"... they are priests. Pastor is for Christians.
No worries.

Hi, if you are already a member of a particular methodist church, there is no waiting period, you can get a letter from the pastor of the church when they make the announcement in May or June.May I know how long do we need to be baptized & be a member of the church,in order to be qualified for phase 2B?
For eg,how long do we need to be member of Fairfield Methodist church in order to qualify for phase 2B at Fairfield Methodist Pri?
Thanks -

Thank you very much for your reply.
If your hubby has been baptised as an adult, did they give him church membership?merkon:
Hi there, my question seems to have dissapeared. My hubby is a church goer at Telok Ayer methodist church. He was baptised there as a child and recently went through an adult baptism too. How do we go about getting the letter for 2014 registration? Is there a certain number of years that he has to be a member? Does the child have to be baptised as methodist for registration into phase 2B? Is the church affliated to ACS J and ACSP? Thank you in advance.
Watch out for the announcement on church bulletin some time in June every year. They will announce. If not, can always check with church admin around that time too. Think the number of years not important but the active ministry and participation in church life is necessary for your form to be endorsed. Yes, Methodist churches under the Methodist church in Singapore have affiliation with all the ACS. Sorry, I'm not sure if child baptism is a Pre requisite (but used to be member of Methodist church for many years). A friend working in church told me pastor will check if the child attends Sunday school regularly.
i'm from one of the methodist churches and adults need to go thru a membership and baptism course in order to get membership.
