Oh?? The data was still the same around 4.25pm. Someone called the school at 4.50pm, the office said the 2 couples did not register.
Your friend is doing a good deed. Imagine all eyes were on the couples, so stressful. Did they manage to successful register for their school of choice?miu miu:
The 2 couples did not register in the end at St Anthony pri school. All 88 SCs got in. Fortunately, no need to do lucky draw. Congratulations!
One of the couples is my friend, hmmm...so the other couple did not register as well? My friend told me the other couple did register. -

People are taking advantage of the system. This is bad!
yalor sianz..though parents got right to do so, but this alrdy affected us who really need the sch due to distance is near..becos of the TUR so high. we didnt even have chance for balloting in 2B sigh......Fated ah.Aleixis:
Just realized Fairfield got 6 or 7 withdrawal aft 2B. Sooo upset cos I was one of 9 who balloted for the one and only one vacancy left for 2B :(...sigh
Patisy, you are right. There was a total of 9 who withdrew after Ph2A. 3 withdrew in Ph 2B and 6 in Ph 2C. I believe there was a lot of these happening in quite a number of schools. Parents who want to secure their seat under alumni or old boy / old girl while monitoring their chance at their first choice school.
You were caught in an unfortunate situation in this system. :hugs:
Did you successfully register at Alexandra in the end? The registrations there was overwhelming!!
Alexis, yes i managed to squeeze in Alexandra Pri. Looking at the no of applications yesterday, it's scary! but luckily SC -199 all in, so balance 11 for PR to ballot..1 Phase only all taken up ! terrible... -
my right eye lid has been twitching whole morning.
keeping fingers crossed. all the best to parents who are waiting to ballot IN next week! :xedfingers: :xedfingers: :xedfingers: -

Congrats to you too, marzipan. I remembered you signing on last year to prepare for this year's registration. Hope you were able to get what you wanted for your child. -

Thanks, yes indeed. My friend decided to make things easy for everyone thus she decided not to withdraw from another school and go for balloting at the school she had registered.

Thanks! It's been indeed a roller-coaster ride for me... I didn't get my 1st choice sch in the end but I'm happy with my decision (albeit rather last minute) to put my boy into Alexandra Pri Schmarzipan:

I presume you don't have to go through balloting? I heard APS only requires balloting for PRs.
