Oops, that means lesser space for phase 2C for SCGS

      😞
Yes, this is true for popular, full schools.

        Hi,

I have a question. When it said affilations, does it apply to siblings who are in Sec school that are affiliated to Pri school?

For example if DS1 is studying Cat High (sec 1), does DS2 given a seat in P1 assuming their age gap is 7 years apart?

Yes, it does. A Sibling in CHS secondary would receive the P1 application form to bring home for his younger brother if he indicates that he needs one. A letter asking if this is required is given to all boys in Primary AND Secondary every year in Late April or May.

How can I find out which are the ‘full schools?’ Is St Hilda’s primary and secondary considered full schools?

So if I studied in the secondary school but not the primary, does it mean my kid can get priority to the primary school?

I don't think St Hilda's is a full school. To my knowledge, only SNGS, SCGS, MGS, CHS and MSH are full schools. So no, you cannot get priority to St Hilda's primary school if you studied in St Hilda's secondary.

St Hilda's operated as a full school during the time it was situated at Ceylon Road. It ceased being one when it moved to the Tampines site in 1989. So if one studied there (regardless whether it's primary or secondary level) before 1989, you can register under phase 2A.

                    Hi,

Can I check for girls schools, which are the ones that the primary school is right next to the affiliated secondary school?
As the age gap between my elder gal and my second one is rather wide, for convenience sake, I plan to get my elder one into a school with affiliation and the secondary school is right next to the primary school.

I know SCGS, MGS, St Nic and PLMGS.
                    Anymore?

                    Thank you.

                      Hi,

Do you have to study at the primary school itself to be considered under Phase 2A?. or as long as you are in their Alumni…meaning having studied in either Sec or JC affliation?.

You need to study at the primary school to qualify under P2A, unless you used to study in a full school (e.g. St Nicks, etc).
