Curious to know.
For SBGE class at NY, what score does a mainstream needs to get to enter the SBGE class?
And if a child hit that score, are they able to opt out of the SBGE class? -
Hi,
Anyone know is there any school bus transportation service from woodland to NYGH ?
Thx. -

I had this impression from my dd that the two SBGE classes, i.e GE classes are GE cum AEP (113) and GE cum HMP (112). The mainstreamers in the GE classes either take AEP or HMP and did well for PSLE (but not sure what is the score). There are also another mainstreamers cum AEP class and a mainstreamers cum HMP class. There is also another special talent class for biculturalism, probably those mainstreamers who did very well in PSLE. (Disclaimer : Not very sure, based on my dd's very vague memory of what was said at the beginning of the year)Curious to know.

Trying to understand abit more about nygh as dd just received a CO from nygh 2 days ago.
Is there any difference in terms of syllabus and style of teaching between GEP class and non GEP class in nygh? -

Hi to all. DD was offered CO under Academic (GEPper). Look forward to interacting with other forumners here. Am doing some information seeking in the following areas, so will appreciate helpful tips and sharing. TIA.
- school bus service (we’re currently staying at Bedok South near Tanah Merah, so it’s a long commute. Exploring shifting to the West)
- Art Elective Program (DD’s quite artistic and think this program could be for her. Spoke with the Teacher in charge on Open Day. Am wondering if there’s anny comments about the program
- Chinese (DD is relatively strong in her current SAP school, but wonder if any initial preparation is needed)
- budget - what’s the typical monthly cost (with all the miscellaneous out-of-pocket expenses) -

I had thought there are 2 GEP classes 112 & 113, comprising entirely geppers. The main streamers who did exceptionally well are grouped in another class... Perhaps I was wrong
