It's ok - i only want to use it as a baby bag bc my current bag's strap starting to split after many many years. I rarely carry backpacks myself. Only when I am overseas.

      Ok, your opinion please.

For sec 1 girls, better for them to carry crumpler bag or yakpak ?

      Thanks

I just rather not pay the price for crumpler, lor. I also rather let the teenager choose her own bag. Teenagers can be quite opinionated about what they wear/use.

Both my DDs were using Zinc bags last year. This year Jie Jie told her sister that Dickies Bags are \"IN\". So the Sec 1 Mei Mei went out with $40 and came back with 10cents and a Dickies bag. The bag comes with life time warranty though, don't ask me warranty against what bcos I have not register for the warranty yet. 😉

          where to buy this yakpak?

My DD got it from 77th street, but I saw many shops selling too. DD says the auntie asked her to keep the recepit for warranty.

From Website: \"YAK PAK bags are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.\"

Ds1 uses a Nike backpack which I got from Royal Sporting House for $80 : http://www.ebags.com/nike/team_training_xl_backpack_with_max_air/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=133849

Ds 2 uses a Victorinox all black backpack which is very hardy and is great for files. Boring but can't go wrong with all black. Ds1 didn't want it so it got passed on to him. http://www.victorinox-travelgear.com/index.php?p=97&i=7304

He used to use this JanSport which is a great bag for school with lots of compartments but he didn't want to use it for sec school so his younger brother's using it. http://www.jansport.com/js_product_detail.php?pid=TEC4

I would highly recommend a sturdy haversack with proper backing for teenage girls. I strongly believe scoliosis (curvature of spine) can be caused or aggravated by carrying heavy bags on one shoulder for young girls. I bought a samsonite haversack for my daughter, it is really strong and has a good support for her spine.

                      😄

Can show a picture of the bag you recommend ?

                      Thanks

you can look at the bags shown in this link for an idea.
