Ur boy has to make 3 changes on his current route. Hv u tot abt taking the bus from Bukit Timah Rd to Bugis MRT and continue as before from there?
This way, he cuts down on one change at Raffles MRT and less overall waiting time and longer travelling time in a roundabout way from Newton MRT to Raffles MRT for the change which will pass through Bugis subsequently.

Vito can consider this route too.
      Thanks Way2Go,

But using this route when going back from school to the East, I worry that Bus 170 may not be so frequent. Is 170 packed ?

Do you think this route will be faster than going thru the hassle of changing MRT at Raffles Place ?

If 170 is frequent & no jam, I think this is worth considering ... maybe this option is less tiring ?

Besides 170, any other bus goes from NJC Dunearn Road to Bugis MRT ?

      Thanks

I am also thinking of giving on monthly basis.

But how much you think the kid should bring daily ?

I think $5 a day is enough for Sec school.
