If struggling from p1 thru to P5, how much will it help with half a year of intense revision?

Actually revision start whenever they have a ca or sa...anything that you can't master for that year will become backlog and hinder your psle revision.

Read \"I am Gifted, So are you!\" by Adam Khoo few years back. A sentence in that book that stays with me even till today. Exam preparation starts from the 1st day of school.

But fully agree it is a consistent ongoing effort.

It really depends on your child's needs. Different challenge needs different strategy. May I know which subject u r referring to?

Eeek... Meaning I am left with 1 honeymoon year.. 2015 gotta start preparing for PSLE 2016 :scared:

hehe...call us kiasu or what...but psle's prep must start in p5...cos 70 to 80% of the content tested in psle are already covered in p5...and not forgetting the backlog and misconceptions, which have to be dealt with, together with new concepts which will be made confusing if the foundations are not good...so start now...dont wait till p6...otherwise very tiring for both child and parent...

For PSLE oral, it's in August next year. Less than a year and the count down begins.

Especially for languages, picking up grammar, editing, spelling, close passages and mastering compo writing skills, cannot wait till p6. It has to start early.


Use the Nov/Dec holidays to read widely and practice on both languages.

For this year’s Chinese oral, some children are found lacking in descriptive phrases, eg spoon, ping pong ball, tray return area, plates, graciousness etc. Especially under stressed exam condition, the words just don’t come out.


So be well prepared.
