You are right. They use the same textbook, but only top few classes will cover the extra 深广topics.

Only top 3 classes cover the HCL and with additional HCL paper during exam (extra day) compared to the other 5 classes.

Are you staying in Ang Mo Kio? Is your child going to Nan Chiau next year? All schools are using the same Chinese textbook & there is no English textbook. Whereas for Math, NCPS used Discovery Math last year & this year change to Shaping Math.

Yes, I have a P2 girl in NCPS. The school will be operating single session from next year onwards. You might want to check with Poh Lee transportation. Alternatively, there will be a childcare centre operating within the school premise from next year onwards.

I know of a P5 student who has externally completed P6 Math syllabus and completed P6 Math assessment books too. My jaws dropped and it’s amazing, looking at Nan Chiau standard. This is kiasu but it will help the child a lot when the child sit for final year paper in P5.
