I hope to have parents from JWPS here so we can share more about the school and kids.

With this year change of principle, I do see some positive change in the school structure. At least their school website is more informative now.
This is very useful for me and esp those working full time and has limited resources knowing what’s going on in our kids school.

Yep, I think this new principal is more active in her role. Since they’re having school socks next week, how I wish they could change to black shoe too ! They’re changing new t-shirt too.

I was also worried about the chinese composition writing next year for P1.

Better than comparable school in the west. 🙂 Heard from the P in the school hall during the release of PSLE results

            Maths higher than national average.

So far, I think I prefer the school than last year system. But I am not comfortable with the Show & Tell Test .

My son is in P3 now. I remembered that they had always has this \"Show and Tell\" sessions in P1 and P2. But we were not told if they are given any marks.
The kids have to bring around an item e.g. favourite toy, and with a given format from the teacher, give a little talk in front of the class usually about 5 mins.
I think it's a good way to built up their confidence to speak infront of an audience.

We live opp JWPs but register sone to JYPS after unsuccessful ballot in GW. Son is in Whispering Hearts Studen care, just walking distance from JWPS. Or you can try YMCA.
