Whut! No World Cup 2010?

I was just discussing with hubby that day, without World Cup live telecast, how is Singapore Pool to be affected ????

my most memorable worldcup was the one in 2002. That was when I was expecting my #1.


Kena ordered complete bedrest by gynae as I almost had a miscarriage due to a weak womb.

so during that time, I managed to catch some games. Got scolded by gynae when I went back for subsequent check-up (had spotting again) and was told to stay away from worldcup as the adrenalin would run too high and I might just over exert myself from the screaming/yelling/cheering

That's definitely 1 worldcup I will never forget

I doubt Singapore Pools would be affected. Live telecast or not, gamblers would continue to bet.

my best experience of watching world cup was during uni days and at my hostel.


The TV & recreation room has 2 big screen TV, one at each end of the room. We will gather infront of each TV according to the team we support and jeer at each other throughout the match.

Me, I am neutral about it until DH starts setting his alarm to go off to wake him up to watch the game but never manages to wake up, instead, wifey got to stop the alarm and give his butt a kick, to which his response is to mumble, roll over and continue sleeping. :x
