I would like to join as SHHK member, I'm a hokkien 31 yrs old. My wife is currently pregnant with twins (yeah I know...) and we don't want to wait till the last minute.

I'm also very interested in the SHHK activities after spending 3 hours reading this whole thread. Would appreciate if I could get 2 sponsors for my application.

Do they issue before phase 1 registration ?

hi would like to know, if i the mum to my boy is baptist but my boy is not. can he still enjoy under phase 2B? or my boy must be also baptist?

Do you mean baptised? It's not enough to show your baptism certificate.
The important thing is that you or your husband must show membership in a church affiliated to the school. For example, if you want your child to be able to apply under phase 2B to one of the methodist schools, you or your husband must be a active member in one of the methodist churches in Singapore.
Before Phase 2B starts, you or your husband will then have to get an official letter endorsed by the pastor-in-charge of your church. You will need to show this letter on the day of registration.

Your child doesn't need to be baptised.

I joined SHHK a few years back and did not get the recommendation for phase 2B, I seriously recommend parents to join grassroots instead of Clan. It will also be more fulfilling to serve the residents.
