      Hi parents,

Just wanted to ask. ..what do you do with yr preschoolers workbooks n crafts etc?
Do you junk them or keep as memento? Some r cute but its really s clutter!

Crafts/artwork - i keep selected ones as memento. why not? my parents also kept mine for over 3 decades. Now when I compare my work with my DS, I know I'm more artistic than him. haha.

I keep select ones…esp those that have hand or foot prints. The rest I put in recycle bin.

Keep first then give away or throw away later. I heard of parents who forbid the teachers to fold the pages in the workbooks. Those parents must be preserving the workbooks for the 3rd generation.

Taking pics is a good idea!

I think I am too sentimental, everything seems so precious. I would love to keep till my kids grow up but I think we will become drowned in the mountain of stuff if I kept everything!

Me too. Thot I will keep so that my kids can have them n show to their kids in future but realise its not practical. My home doesn't have enuf space n my kids cringe when I showed them n asked if they still want to keep them.

You can still take some photos before discarding. They may cringe now, but when they get a bit older, they may not be so sensitive and may appreciate having some memories.

I will keep workbooks for future reference. As for craftwork, usually I will keep them for awhile before throwing them. Sometimes not very nice to let my girl know that I throw her stuff…
