Investiture is tonight. Can I just confirm the boys no need bring their badges right? Provided by school yes? Cos I bought extra badges from bookshop just in case mine lose theirs nxt time. -

I recall (2 years back)..
During the ceremony, the teaching staff walked into the Hall (accompanied by grand music) in their graduation gear and were seated with their form classes, while the rest (without form classes) sat in the front rows. Parents were also seated by classes near their boys' classes.
One boy from each class (Reg No. 1) went on stage to receive the school badge from the Principal, and the Principal personally pinned the school badge on each boy's shirt. So, if your child's name starts with A (eg. Aron Ang), then very likely he will represent the class to go on stage to receive the badges from the Principal..
After that, the form teachers proceeded to pin the school badge on each boy's shirt at their seats. I managed to record DS' form teacher pin the RI badge on DS' shirt, coz I was sitting just in front of DS in the Hall..
Oh.. Not forgetting when the boys performed the RI cheers & roars for the parents in the Hall. And feet-stomping too. The moment was unforgettable.. -

Investiture is today.. Can't wait to goWhen is the Investiture ceremony ?
I recall the boys performed the Raffles cheers (that they learnt during the camp) for the parents, in the Hall.. Thunderous!!
Very touching too..

DS just reached home !! DS came home by himself. I thot DS would come home in the evening.
Aiyo, DS has so many cuts on his legs and a big deep cut on his right ankle. DS says not so painful now, but me heart-pain..
DS immediately rushed upstairs to do his 'business' (he says no time to do there) and shower. DS says certain days even no time to brush teeth in the mornings.
Overall, DS says the camp was extremely tiring but very fun !
Aiyo.. The aroma that DS brought home. I still haven't plucked up my 'courage' to open his bag of dirty laundry yet.. :faint: -

i don't know frankly. Are the boys supposed to go back to RI then go back from there? I only know they're dismissed at 4pm. -
