Holiday to USA
-
Using https://bongacams.com has been a lot of fun. The site’s international flavor means I get to enjoy performances from models all over the world, which keeps things exciting. The search engine does a good job of helping me find shows that match my interests. Plus, the ability to record sessions and watch them later is a great perk.

Wow! You mean u are doing west coast and east coast....I'm envious! Frankly, how much you spend will depend on how you intend to travel inter-state and the type of hotel you want to stay. I presume u will fly rather than drive, unless u want to use Route 66. Yours is not a common itinerary. But u can always go to UA or Delta website to price the internal flights. Otherwise, for the easiest way, go to a travel agent, tell them your plans, and get them to quote a price.Hi,
I am planning for a 4 week vacation to USA in the month of June. We are a family of 2 A and 2 C (5 & 2). I am planning to visit SaN Franciso, LA Disney land, Las Vegas, Niagara falls, New york city. Would like to know generally how much would it cost includes all flight trips and accomadation and food. Whats the best airlines to book?
Thanks, -

Wow that's an ambitious itinerary to cover over 4 weeks. I have been to these places but on several occasions. Nevertheless, you can use the following for planning purpose-based on decent class (3or4*) booking.Hi,

Airline: Delta (stopover Narita) or Cathay (stopover HK) - budget $2000/pax if book early
Internal flight: Delta or United - $500/pax
Hotel: Rooms are generally large so 1 room should be ok - $150-200/night
Car rental & gas & park: $80-$120/day
Theme park: $250-$350/theme park
Food: $100-$200/day for family
Shopping: TBD
Misc (Tips, casino, other expenses etc.): TBD
Alternatively, you might want to engage Tour agency to book if you dont intend to drive. -
Hi,
I just came bk from US & We took 3 wks to cover only part of west coast in Vegas, San Diego, LA etc. It's very taxing if u want to cover east n west side with young kids...Mayb u wan to reconsider yor travel plan. :scared: -

Agreed, we ever travel to USA with my young kids for a few occasions. Yes, it was very tiring even though we did East & west coast on separate occasions. If u intend to cover Disney, u may consider to Disney world at Florida. Previously, we spend one whole week at Disney world after visiting New York & Niagara fall.Hi,

In the east, you can also cover Washington DC, Boston and Montreal (Canada).

agreed as well. it's VERY tiring, be it 3 or 4 wks. I did in a few separate trips last time. After Niagara Fall, can cross over to Toronto also.

Eastern seaboard can cover Maine, Boston, NYC, Atlantic city, Philly, all the way to DC that ngl2010 mentioned. not sure if u want to cruise southwards all the way to FL. *Siong*

I spent door to door 18 days in Orlando alone in our 2012 trip
To do both east and west in one trip is tiring no doubt. Not my cup of tea. But if kaisuparent’s objective is to see and do as much as possible in one trip, it is still possible, even if most of us won’t do it. Eg:
1. Fly to LA
2. LA, hollywood
3. Drive to Disney
4. Disneyland
5. California Adventure
6. Drive to LV
7. LV
8. LV (Grand Canyon)
9. Fly to SF
10. SF
11. SF
12. fly to NY
13. NY
14. Drive to Niagara
15.niagara
16. Drive to NY
17. NY
18. NY
19. Return to SG
20. Arrive home.
The balance of the 10 days slot into whichever place they want to stay longer, or can attempt to drive from LV to SF and spend some time along the way.
May be just superficial visits at some places, but still workable with the internal flights and can meet their objective. If they do this, I suggest they allocate one to two days back in Singapore to "recuperate " instead of going straight back to work after the trip.
The last time I spent 1 month in the US, we did hawaii, west coast, Vancouver and Alaska. It was just DH and I and we took internal flights, Phoenix to SF, SF to Vancouver. It was 18 yrs ago when we were young and had a lot of energy and we had no kids. -
Hi,
Thanks for your replies. With two kids covering both east n west coast looks very tiring. Hence I would be covering only west coast in my first trip. Also we don’t know driving, hence have to plan accordingly. How early do we need to book the international and internal flights. Is there any website where I can get the different flight operators.
Thanks, -

Any friends in states can drive u ard? It's not easy n taking a cab is very costly. Otherwise is to get tour package and then you don't have to stress so much. Suggest your itinerary includes lego land, sea world and Disney since you travel with 2 young kids.Hi,
