I am very sua ku. DS's primary school never sent me even one sms for the 6 years and the teachers never email me if I don't initiate first. The amount of sms and emails RI and the teachers sent is overwhelming for me (in a good way). I am still getting a hang on it. I am really very sua ku :faint:

Just wonder is there class position at the end of the year? Eg 1st or 2nd in class those type? And does being a subject rep amount to anything? From a yr 1 mama

I think no class position anouncement, only some boys may ask around about the GPAs...

wow what pri sch your ds come from? why no communication with parents? i also been receiving a lot of emails. Then i wondered if my sons will recv the same emails as well so I asked one of the teachers abt it. I was told the emails should be sent to the boys, not parents and they went to me instead cos i have stated my email address as my son's email add. I did this cos my boys emails have many junk mails and they will hardly check their mails. so i have asked them to start a new acct specifically for school related matters and update it on their student portals.

No 'position in class / level' awards, but have 'top in subject' awards..

Hi Yr1 moms


has your DS chosen his CCA? i saw the training schedule and noted the sports are so 'siong'..shooting 5 times a week, floorball 3 times, water polo 4 times!! will they still have time for homework?

i am trying to convine DS to go for uniformed groups which are less 'siong', but DS is not interested..:(

mine trains 3x a week, and soon there will be additional gym sessions days. I never see them at home before 7pm now. miss the leisure conversations we used to have. so now i pick them after trainings, so i can have some time to bond with them before they have to rush hw once they reach home. i know im definitely not alone as my frd’s son (yr 1 too) trains 5x a week till 8pm! (shooting)

DS's primary school is a neighbourhood school. I thought it is normal not to have many communication with parents.

I saw that DS also received emails. He uses his own email addresses.
