We drop by Jcube's Ice Rink with our kiddos. Most of us are newbiews, but that did not stop us from experimenting, having fun, and bonding along the way.

The kids laugh when we parents fall too 🙂

Dun wish to be a wet blanket. But do be careful, maybe must learn how to fall??

DD (12yo) tried for the first time a few weeks ago. She was already skating slowly & completing her 2hour session when she fell (after trying to regain balance a few times) & suffered a fracture.
Was in cast with no weight bearing allowed for 6 weeks. Just removed her cast & now slowly ‘learning’ to walk again…
A painful lesson that could have been avoided. So do take precautions.

          Cheers & have fun.

jCube there offer classes for about 5 lesson if I am not wrong or something… It’s a one time fee. I have done my math and it’s actually worth it as you can not only learn to skate but also one your lesson day itself you could skate even after your lesson.

So, the math come up to if you go for 5 time to skate it come up with $x but if you go for the lesson for 5 days it come up with $x.

So maybe you wanna join the class.

Maybe learn something like the basics of rollerblading first then pick up ice skating. That’s what I did.

                  Hello!

I'm a 14yr Sec 2 student and I'm thinking of taking up figure skating. There's just one problem. I have never ice skated before. Never. I'm looking for recommendations of coaches that are dedicated and unafraid to push their students 🙂 Do you have any rink recommendations too? Would you reckon I self-learn the basics before enlisting a coach? Any help is greatly appreciated.
                  Thanks in advance!

Tried ice skating at the Rink and our family enjoyed it a lot. They provide the skate boots for rental and as well holder for kids, which can be used for holding while skating without any adults supervision… great place for both kids and adults to enjoy.

This wallet uses SPV and random servers from a list. This means little trust in third parties is required when verifying

payments. However, it is not as secure as a full node like Bitcoin Core.
