Moe will post on her website :
the dates for all the phases, for p1 registration.
(2008 born : 2015 p1 intake)

Your kindergarten / child care form teachers will also notify all k2 parents, dates of all phase(s) primary 1 registration.

Hi, need some advise/opinion:


My son is due for p1 registration this year. We are able to go to Nanayang Pri Sch (Phase 2A2), Fairfield Methodist Pri (Phase 2A2) or ACS (Phase 2B, within 1 km). Could anyone please advise which school should my son enrol in? Thanks.

Go nanyang, for yr daughter.


For yr son -
Enrol in nanyang first, under phase 2a.

Under phase 2b < 1 km, if no balloting & is safe, then go acs, & you want affliated sec school advantage.
If require balloting, then stick to nanyang.

For kids (p1 to p6):-
If got choice, better to choose a sap primary school.
The Chinese laying of foundation is crucial.
Since you do have a choice, choose sap school is better.
(For many of us here, we don’t have any choice)

For secondary next time, then decide whether want a sap school or non sap secondary.

Don’t think need to attend SAP schools to have strong Chi foundation.

Hi all

similar to greenjelly, also seeking advice on P1 registration for my son this year.

I am able to go Pei Chun (phase 2A2) or SJI Junior or ACS Junior, both under Phase 2B within 1 Km.

Pei Chun’s distance is a concern. i am not sure if the school bus comes to our area.
does anyone know if the P1 next year will be single session or still afternoon session?

I would prefer either SJI or ACS Junior, but base on balloting history, it looks like balloting is required for SC within 1Km. so quite risky.

now at a lost on which one to go for…
any advise?
