I have one Phillips for dd’s desk. She hardly uses it. Oh yes, once or twice when the ceiling light was not working. Dh commented that the ceiling light was not bright but dd thinks otherwise.

Is this really good? Or are there other alternatives?

3M polarizing is very good! anti-glare and filters out undesirable light rays.

I bought the 3M Polarizer lamp for him. Use array of LEDs (not hot when under light), light intensity adjustable by switching on and off array of LEDs, and filter (to cut down glare). I felt that’s a good lamp, so is probably Philips’. Also bought an ergonomic study desk + chair For my DS1. But DS1 would study anywhere (if can get him to study at all), except the study desk…
