Was told that the Fun Scientist Programme is back. Every Friday (from this Friday onwards), during recess, there will be science related programmes for the kids. Do encourage your kids to drop by the Teaching Lab @Level 2 to explore and have fun!

Saw that on mr low Facebook page....think my gal will have great fun 🙂

Some may argue that the kids barely have time to eat during recess.. they won't have time to attend this programme. But the way I see it.. getting a timeslot is not easy. If this was done during lesson time, it will be at the expense of other subject.. and some parents may not be happy about it. So this is definitely a good start to generate interest. I'm sure if the response it good, the school will take it a step further. My kids are excited too!

What has the school done to my DS?!!!

I mean he came back yesterday , not his usual self ,I must say this …EXCITEMENT was all over his face and he was saying that he wanted to build a lava lamp! At first, I was scratching my head…what on earth is that? Then he was telling me about the fun scientist programme and how Mr Low taught them how to build a lava lamp using oil, water and some tablet ( he couldn’t say the name). He said that Mr Low will upload the instructions on mconline and he will go and "look for Mr Low today to remind him to put on mconline."( I lol when I heard that). He also told me about Galileo - how he stood up for what was right…

I must say I am very happy that the school is rolling out interesting programmes to engage the pupils…I think the principal really walks the talk when he mentions about educating the whole child. As parents, I must say nothing beats seeing your own children having a great passion to learn and yes I agree with cyanocrash that the fun scientist programme during recess time is definitely a good start…

Yes my son was talking to me with excitement about the science program yesterday. I believe it’s a good move to let our kids to know science to prep them for it when they start theirs in the upper primary education. It is important to develop the child interest of a subject at a young age,

my daughter had fun at the FSP today. My son was disappointed that he didn’t get to join coz he couldn’t finish eating in time… but will try again next week.

Oh yah… have not been to the school for a while and happened to be there earlier today. Saw the eco garden… i thought it was beautifully done. Very nice and well-thought design. Anyone seen it?

Both P1 and P2. Programme is held during the respective recess.

I heard Mr Low has a fb page. How do I go about adding him? Heard from a parent that he is quite receptive to suggestions as well as he will update parents on interesting issues pertaining to school life…I would like to add him. Anyone knows his fb id?
