You mean they change again within a week or was it last year that your dd referring to? Last year was definitely core.
This year even before the school implement the CCA and IDP thing, the form they brought back during orientation still classify Sports as core. Only when they started this thing, what we know was Sports has become IDP. They were not given the choice to choose Sports as core CCA leh...

I just checked the circular dated 10 Feb, it says :
CCA - Category A - Performing arts & UG.
IDP - Category B - Sports and Games & Clubs.

Those posted to Sports as core CCA must be in school team. Only a few for each Sport.

Other students will have PA or UG as core CCA and a Sport as IDP.
That was what I was told when I enquired last week.

That's what I asked my dd and her friends. They said some posted to Sports as core didnt even have any prior background nor through DSA. This girl whom we send to school everyday together with my dd is one of them. How are they selected for school team then ? :?

Before the cny, her understanding was as per your circular. Today she says there is a change.
