Kids say the darnest things...

My 10 year old son told his sister that she drank expressed milk when she was a bb. He even her about the 'process and how it's done', how noisy the Medela was etc etc  I reminded him that it's supposed to be a secret. He even let on that he drank a little every morn with his Milo (he was in K2 then)...and how strong he was then.
Then he told his sister that she will have milk in future...  -

Wah, your son's so smart, and only 2 and a half? Wow!Okie, don't know if I have shared this here b4 ... cuz the episode's been circulating quite a bit among the family.
DH went jogging at the stadium and brought DS (2 and a half yrs) along. After the jog, DH brought DS to the loo to pee pee.
So they are at the urinal ....
DH: ok, son, must aim properly ok, cannot wet your shoes, pants, floor ...
DS turned to look at his dad, patted him on the face and said:
DS: Its ok, accidents do happen daddy
According to my DH, he (DH) was speechless ...

Happened this morning. While rushing my 5yo DD to her class, I zoomed out in front of the cars when a traffic light turned green.
DD: Whee! Faster daddy! Or else the other cars catch up!
Me: Daddy's the best  Nobody can beat daddy! Muahahaha---
DD: That's because you are FAT.
Me: --ha :!: WHAT?! Why you call Daddy fat?!
DD: Oh... because you are FAT and BIG, nobody can beat you
Me:
Sure anot? So being fat is good arh?
DD: Yes. Nobody can bully you.
Me: So you want to be fat?
DD: No. :politebleah:
Me: :frustrated: -

:rotflmao:Okie, this one just happened 2nite while I was putting DS to sleep...
DS is in this stage where he is always asking why why and why ...
DS inserts his hand into my t-shirt ...
DS: mummi, are you wearing bla (can't pronounce 'r' sound clearly)
Me: yes, sweetie (*cold sweat* .... *please, please don't ask the 'why' question*)
DS: why must mummi wear bla?
(s***, what to do, shall I just tell him all out), Taking a deep breath ...
Me: ok son, just like you are wearing underwear to cover your birdie, mummi is wearing a bra, which is like an underwear, to cover mummi's breasts.
DS: Then why daddi not wearing bla?
Whew, saved by the bell, DH entered the room and I changed the subject.
My DS asked me how to wear it.
