Q) the guitar is expensive. The flute is expensive
A) both the guitar and the flute are expensive
Can the ans be
Both the guitar and flute are expensive OR
Both guitar and flute are expensive.
Which is correct?
Thanks
Our view:
It's wrong to say \"both guitar and flute are expensive.\"
Articles such as \"a\" and \"the\" are very important in the English language.
\"The\" characterizes and identifies a noun.
Remember: If no article is used, nouns are usually used in the plural form.
For example: Guitars and flutes are expensive.
