I would like to know out of the approx 18 places, how many are from the affiliated primary school?
We can't know that. However, students from the affiliated primary section have a much better chance of entering via PSLE etc, so if you're thinking of applying by DSA, a reasonably good CV will get you in the door. -
Thank you autolycus . What would be a reasonably good cv

There's a brief outline http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1296914#p1296914, earlier in the thread.

I think there are about 400 Dsa applicants this year. Wonder if mgs will increase the ip intake or dsa ip intake?

There can't be 400 DSA applicants this year or any year. There are 8 classes per level, and a maximum of 50% DSA places. Of these 8 classes, a maximum of 3 will be IP-intake classes. You can do the math... -
There are only 2 IP classes in MGS, each class size is around 30 girls.
Applicant numbers are not dependable on intake numbers or class size. Any year, the number of applicants varies as it depends on demand.
From what I know, MGS will usually take in less than 30 girls through DSA for the IP course. -
