There are only 2 IP classes in MGS, each class size is around 30 girls.

Applicant numbers are not dependable on intake numbers or class size. Any year, the number of applicants varies as it depends on demand.
From what I know, MGS will usually take in less than 30 girls through DSA for the IP course.

210 - 60 = 150 MGS primary school girls return to MGS Secondary, continue their Secondary education

My girl is now in Year 1 IP in MGS. In her class, exactly half the class (15 girls) are from MGS Pri.

And from what I know, there’s no affiliation when it comes to IP. Entrance is purely by DSA and PSLE cut off scores.

Thanks for all the additional comments. To clarify, what I meant was about 400 p6 sat for HAST this year (for the IP programme) and I was told at the open house that the school takes in about 18. So it seems to be that the prob of getting in via Dsa is 18 out of 400. Tough!

Any news when the school will call short listed p6 girls for interviews for Ip?

They only have 2 IP class and they can only open up to 50% for DSA. so that is y only 18-20 places for DSA. Its not easy.
