Try fried rice at Orchard Hotel. The cafe located at level 1 next to the reception counter. The fried rice plate comes with achar, few sticks of satay and crackers. Really tasty. So is the price.

We once ordered a plate of fried rice at Putien-- Resort World Sentosa. The plate comes with rice and mixed with beat fried egg only. That’s all. No other ingredient and cost us $18+++.

Janet, is this matching with yours?

yes...only bits of fried egg and pathetic little prawns.
I didn't pay $6-8 for a plate of rice. The one by Paradise is equally pathetic.

I think adding in 上汤 is impt for fried rice. If you go to any restaurant, this is added to have the true taste. But zhi char store-- add more msg!
