The info you are looking for is http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/event/2014-p1-registration-phase-2c\">here. Essentially, if the number of applicants for Teck Ghee this year is anywhere near 2013's, you will be looking at balloting at Phase 2C.

Thank you Chief Kiasu! Can i ask the total number of applicants in 2013 includes PR right? not those who qualified for balloting under each sch's condition?

Yes, it may include those who did not withdraw their applications in time to try other schools.

Ok got it! so actual number of kids that qualify for balloting would be lower than the figures given. πŸ™‚ any possibility of finding that out?

so sorry if you have to answer repeated questions of the same kind.

You may be able to find the exact answer if you bother to trawl through last year's threads on P1 registration. Some schools may also have that info on their websites.

The number of vacancies in RGPS has thrown a curveball into the equation this year for many.

Even at <1Km from HPPS, ballot for sure. RGPS is >2km away but the 103 places is making me think hard about giving up my <1km priority!

That's a hard decision to make. But I would go for the one with a higher chance on the 3rd day. Even if RGPS require balloting, it will most likely be for those >2km only.

That's the dilemma! Seems i will have to ballot regardless of what school i choose.

It seems like that everybody is waiting for the last day to do last minute registration. There will be a big rush and not sure the school can handle all the last minute enquiries on the seats available 😞

Those within 1km should be pretty confident and register on first day. If parents want to register on last day, can try to register in morning to avoid the mad rush by last min parents on Friday afternoon.get ready a set of photocopied documents together with original documents. Bring a pen along too.
