Yes, if is within 1 km from Super popular schools that require balloting, scary
Depends on which school!sembgal:
Those within 1km should be pretty confident and register on first day.
If parents want to register on last day, can try to register in morning to avoid the mad rush by last min parents on Friday afternoon.
Even at <1km I don't have much confidence.
Even if today & tomorrow, numbers are small at 2C in popular schools, doesn't mean no balloting. Friday afternoon, figures will soar -

Nan chiau has paste a poster stating that they are only accepting sc < 1km. Those who are PR or > 1km are advised to try out other school

Nan Chiau has more than enough applicants for SC within 1km. Balloting to be expected.
Kudos to Nan Chiau for the initiative to paste the poster to inform. Other schools should adopt this too and alert parents what to expect. -

I left ACSP about 10, and total registration were 18 (SC:16; PR:2).
Then I checked to ACSJ, their last update on 8:30 shown only online registration which 6/1/6 based on distance (<1k/1-2/>2).
Anybody knows the latest?
I'm waiting for the latest too..I live within 2.3km. Do I have any chance of getting into ACSJ? or should I jus go for SJI which is within 2km?
Ahh this is so stressful. -

Wait until Friday afternoon after 3.45 pm numbers, to indicate.
Today and tomorrow, don't do anything yet
Possible that this year : both ACS Junior and SJI Junior both may ballot, within 1 to 2 km.
If both ballot, take the one with lesser number of people enrolled.
But if dont wish to ballot, choose another p2C school that avoid balloting -
Relax. The first day is really too early for regular updates because a lot of people will be waiting. Hourly updates should happen on the 3rd day. Save your energy and blood pressure for the last day, folks.

My friend is looking at the ACS schools too. She lives 1-2km but think chances are slim as ballot or cut-off is <1km over the last few years. SJI at least got chance to ballot 1-2km. Unfortunately she is on other side. >2km from SJI. So you are in a more fortunate situation. -

For online submission, do we need to bring down the original documents for verification by Friday?
