My daughter is 13. She had her 1st menstration in Mar 14. Menstration stops after her 2nd times. Anyone's daughter had similar experience? should i bring to see a GP?

It's quite normal for it to be irregular when it first starts. Maybe wait another couple of months before you start seeing a doctor.

Anyone experienced a period that lasted longer than usual meaning it ended then came again after a few days? It ended with spotting for 2-3 days then it began again. It’s happening to my girl in her teen, really worried for her. Will get her to see a gynae but is there anyone with similar experience?

Thanks for your reply, went to see my family doctor, he say it’s normal and not to worry

This happens to be when my stress level is high. DD also experiences it but am not sure if it is due to stress as wel cos the one time it happened to her, she was also taking a lot of iced lemon tea which I personally believe is very 'liang'.

Giving her 'bai fong' tablets to see if it helps as she has been looking pale.

the ‘good’ thing about menses is ease of clearing bowels during the few days…of course the discomfort is wearing sanitary pads and backache.

                    menses can help clear bowels?

I have constipation before the menses but once it comes, I feel the urge to go to the loo... So, it does help me.
