can i check once we have been successfully being selected in Phrase 2c... how do we check if we have registered for the student care have a slot for my son.

Based on last year, the registration for the school transport and student care are done during orientation. They will then collate the numbers and inform parents whether they have been successful.

finally registered my daughter in palm view....having a positive feeling 🙂

Thankyou all for great support and advice
I think even palm view would be very near to filling up of vacancies by the end of third day....
morning they said around 130 total registered...and there are many who register on third day after not securing place in other schools

I also done my p1 registration this morning.

Re the student care, the person in-charge told me that the deadline for registration will be on 22 Aug, they will inform the parent via phone call in first week of Sep re the confirmation of slot… Parent may do the registration first and pay the deposit when u got the slot.

Currently the student care has ard 100 students, they may or may not expand the centre.

The student care operator has the policy of reviewing the student’s need to stay on at end of P2 and P4 (it is not automatic 6 years). I do hope they can expand as I am very pleased with placing my girl in their care this year. Beside "low income", the "need" is also taken into consideration.

good to know that they are taking registration early instead of waiting for orientation. This will give parents who do not get a place in the student care ample time to source for other alternatives.
Don't worry too much about whether they will expand or not. Like the school, the student care centre has the kids' interest at heart. They will look at ways to try and take in as many as they can as long as it is within their capacity.
