good to know that they are taking registration early instead of waiting for orientation. This will give parents who do not get a place in the student care ample time to source for other alternatives.I also done my p1 registration this morning.
Re the student care, the person in-charge told me that the deadline for registration will be on 22 Aug, they will inform the parent via phone call in first week of Sep re the confirmation of slot.. Parent may do the registration first and pay the deposit when u got the slot.
Currently the student care has ard 100 students, they may or may not expand the centre.
Don't worry too much about whether they will expand or not. Like the school, the student care centre has the kids' interest at heart. They will look at ways to try and take in as many as they can as long as it is within their capacity. -
No balloting required.

Good morning… going to PVPS now to register my son. I am a bit worired as we are PR bet. 1km to 2km… might go for balloting or no chance at all. Not sure if it is a good decision to choose PVPS instead of Yio Chu Kang Pri which is nearer to our place (less than 1km).

Maybe you can share why you choose Palm View instead of YCK? -

PVPS was recommended by our son’s tuition teacher. Aside from that I have read positive feedback from this forum. As for YCK i can hardly find write ups about the school, so we have no basis to choose it though it is near our place. -

The best is to call up the school to get the latest numbers and then decide from there.
