Just called up to St. Hilda’s Primary School. As of now there are more than 100 SC < 1KM registered. So balloting is required on 6th August 2014 for 54 spots.

            MGS

Quite a different scenario from yesterdays. Those who know that they have no chance has already all cleared out.

There was this grandma and her grand-daughter going to Marymount Convent to register at 11.30am this morning. Grandma wanted to find out if there is available vacancies and was assured that currently there are 70 + applicants so chances look good for her grand-daughter. Confirm can enter without the need to ballot. She intends to go to do withdrawal at another primary school in AMK and register her grand-daughter in Marymount Convent this afternoon. Parents of the girl are not in Singapore at time of registration but they prepared letter of authorization to grandma to carry out registration for their grand-daughter. The parents prefer to enrol their daughter in this school.

Hope that this grandma is now waiting at that school which she want to withdraw and come back in time to do the other registration of the prefer school. Just wonder no others sibing from both side of the parent to help their niece instead of their own parent. Registration of P1 is usually Jul till Aug, did it happen to change these yrs? just commenting…
